Valley Oaks Village Partners with SoCal Edison to Create Expanded Community Garden for Residents

Get a glimpse of the new parcel of land we have licensed from SoCal Edison to give our residents more space in our existing community garden. While we are still largely in the planning phases, we do expect to move our existing chain link fence this year and give our residents more room to grow plants and vegetables. Stay tuned for progress updates, but we are very excited about up coming changes in this space for everyone to enjoy. Perhaps most importantly, we invested in new ramps at our garden entrance so that residents with mobility issues can also enjoy this area once it is complete. Previously the entrance to this space required residents to navigate a step, but once the space is complete, everyone will be able to enjoy this special asset. A special shout to SoCal Edison for all their flexibility and support of seniors in our community.
